Spring Park and West Wickham Common are beautiful public spaces, owned and maintained by the City of London Corporation.

Tom Turrell AM reports: Cllr Will Rowlands and I met with the Chair Ben Murphy, and Deputy Chair Christine Haines, of the Commons Committee to discuss protecting and enhancing them for future generations.

Grateful for the assurances we got in the meeting, which includes confirmation of no linking maintenance budgets to fundraising from the two Commons and no large scale music/ inappropriate events which would see loss of public access or damage to land, plants or habitats.
