Councillor Michael Tickner is the Conservative Councillor Beckenham Town & Copers Cope Ward, having been elected in May 2022 alongside two Liberal Democrats.

Michael Tickner is an experienced and active local Councillor who has represented Beckenham residents for a number of years.

He lives off Court Downs Road and commutes to London from Beckenham Junction every day.

Michael has wide experience of Planning and Traffic Management issues, and has successfully led the bid to secure £4.3m funding for the major public realm improvement of Beckenham High Street.

He is an active campaigner for road safety improvements, including at Westgate Bridge, Southend Road, and the junction of Bromley Road and Downsbridge Rd-Scotts Lane.
