Christine Harris represents Kelsey and Eden Park Ward. She is married with two grown up sons. She set up her own Accountancy business at home working around family commitments. Conservative councillors for Copers Cope ward have succeeded in getting Bromley Council and TfL to improve the dangerous junction of Scott’s Lane, Bromley Road and Downsbridge Road with installation of a new mini roundabout and pedestrian crossing. There had been 14 collisions recorded there in the 5 years to June 2020.

More than 117,000 meals were claimed in Beckenham under the Government’s Eat Out to Help Out scheme, according to the latest statistics. In total, more than 100 million meals were claimed across the UK under the scheme, which ran throughout the month of August. In total, 84,700 establishments signed up to the scheme, including 89 in Beckenham

Beckenham Library was one of the first in Bromley Borough to re-open on Monday 6 July as the Covid-19 lockdown eased. Although borrowing a pre-pack of books or using the computer has to be pre-registered*, Conservative Councillors and supporters (pictured socially distancing) welcomed the news.

Schools in Beckenham and Hayes have been allocated a share of £560 million Government investment, to expand classrooms, upgrade facilities and improve the education of children across the whole country. This funding will ensure schools have well-maintained facilities to provide students with safe environments that support a high-quality education.
