  • Councillors

Gemma lives in Shortlands on Beckenham Grove with her husband and two cats, since 2018. She was elected to represent Shortlands and Park Langley ward on Bromley Council in a by-election in May 2024.

Gemma first moved to London in 2010 when she was the first in her family to go to University. Following University Gemma has built a career in Healthcare Administration as a contractor working with diverse client bases such as NHS Trusts, Universities, Councils & Corporate Clients with their Occupational Health needs.

Gemma has a track record of campaigning on local issues that matter to residents whether that be from getting extra capacity on busy bus routes to ensuring local streets are kept clean.

Gemma said:

“Bromley Council already have a proven track record of keeping Council Tax low whilst running award winning services, but I know there is more that can be done and over the coming weeks I hope to earn the trust of the residents in Shortlands and Park Langley so that I can sit with Felicity and Adam in the Civic Centre fighting for Shortlands & Park Langley. I am very much looking forward to the campaign ahead!”

In her free time, Gemma enjoys visiting historical sites, fashion, reading and mountaineering. One of Gemma’s ambitions over the coming years is to complete the Everest Base Camp trek.
