An environmental economist, he has worked in policy-making in central government for many years. Has worked at Ofwat, the water regulator and the Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. Main responsibilities have included, UK environmental policy on river water quality and waste and recycling, and producing guidance on policy costs and benefits across government. Lives in Beckenham with his wife and three boys who go to local schools. Friend of Kelsey Park and enthusiastic about improving our local environment, parks and green spaces. Would like to see more investment in Kelsey Park and green spaces, with more formal planting and improving the playground provision. Looking forward to bringing an analytical approach to decision-making and priorities at Bromley Council.
