Northern Land Developments received planning permission on appeal in March of last year for 105 new dwellings comprising a mixture of apartments and town houses. The planning permission was granted in Outline. Subsequently, detailed plans were prepared of the design of the buildings and the internal layouts and these were submitted to the Council in October of last year. After a series of adjustments to the scheme, the Council approved the details at the end of February.

A further application is likely to be submitted to the Council shortly incorporating a number of revisions to the scheme including changing the position of the ramp to the basement car park, changing the internal mix of some of the apartments and adding some additional apartments onto two of the blocks.

A representative of Escott Planning LLP regularly meets with the Langley Park Residents Association to keep them up to date with the planning situation whilst Northern Land Developments, a local developer that has built a number of luxury developments in Beckenham over the last 20 years, continues to be supportive of local issues.
