Local elections took place across Bromley borough on the 22nd May 2014.

Bromley Council now has 51 Conservative, 7 Labour and 2 UKIP councillors. This compares with 52 Conservatives, 3 Labour, 4 Liberal Democrats and 1 UKIP councillor in the previous administration.

All 17 Conservative candidates who stood in Beckenham won their seats.

Full election results for each ward can be found on the Bromley Council website. See this link:

Bromley Council Election Results 2014

There have been changes to the representatives in the Beckenham constituency as five councillors 'retired' at this election. Anne Manning stood down as a Hayes & Coney Hall councillor; Paul Lynch stood down as a Kelsey & Eden Park councillor; Ernest Noad stood down as a Shortlands councillor; and Jane Beckley and Brian Humphrys both stood down as West Wickham councillors. We wish them all a long and happy retirement from the council.

Five new councillors were elected to replace the retiring councillors - Peter Fortune in Hayes & Coney Hall Ward; Alan Collins in Kelsey & Eden Park Ward; Mary Cooke in Shortlands Ward; and Hannah Gray and Tom Philpott in West Wickham.
